Calculators and educational content involving clinical information are reviewed for accuracy against the original source material and current pediatric guidance.

What gets reviewed

  • Calculator scoring logic and cut-off values
  • Age-band assignments and corrected-age handling
  • Educational and FAQ content presented alongside each tool
  • References, links, and the wording of clinical disclaimers

How review works

Each calculator is reviewed against its primary source on launch and at least once every 12 months thereafter, or sooner if the underlying guidance changes. The reviewer checks:

  1. That the implemented scoring matches the published cut-offs exactly.
  2. That accompanying copy reflects the current AAP / WHO / CDC recommendations.
  3. That referenced studies are still considered authoritative.
